As Peter said you best off ringing or emailing direct. As far as we are aware KIRAD won't re-open. Rik told Steve Fawcett this on the phone

I am sure he will honour all previous orders though

Hi Rachel.

I've been waiting for a blackout and some rear ground effects that I ordered in September (I've since got them elsewhere as I had given up waiting etc.) and I had some friendly comms from Rik's daughter with regards to when they will be ready about a week or so ago.

You might want to try her to see if she can bring you up to speed. I'm sure she will be glad to help

he has had my dash and electronics for nearly 3 years

I have read none of the previous post so not up to Speed


He has my dash and all the electronics and was supposed to fit it before the car is on the road in April.

Hope you get some good news about the dash and electronics, if your local to him, might be worth popping down and getting the dash and electronics back off him, its easy to fit them yourself, or I'm sure someone on here thats localish to you would fit them for you?

Was Rik supposed to be fitting the whole thing into your car ? if hes unable to do it then id see about just getting all your bits back first then worry about intsalling it once you have it all back. I know your switchpods are done though because i made the labels for your buttons !

Putting the actual dash in the car is easy, wiring the various bits and pieces up can be a bit of a headache but theres plenty of people here that have done it and could help out.

Is there nobody near Bucks that could come and help you out with it ?

After i had all the dash parts for 8 years , a guy from another knight rider forum was going to do my dash. I waited 4 years and then nothing even though he had my money he then said I am not doing it because I don't like being harassed.

Even though he had my money for doing it all that time . He finally refunded it


. Rik said he would do it 2.1/2 years ago. After finishing the one he was doing

I have had all the parts and replaced a few parts. I told Rik last August I only had till april to fit as I have to take over the rates on this place so no money will go to the car. So unless my dash is fitted by April my dream will be over.

I know he is busy and been moving but I have waited 8 years now since I have had all the parts and to tell you the truth I am vastly getting distanced from the whole thing

i have contacted him, he said letting him unpack boxes and Finnish it but that was 4 weeks ago.

My sis moved in 2 weeks ago and is settled in now.


I just want a yes i will finish before or no i wont.

He has promised he would and i dont doubt he wants too. but its only 4 weeks left now

Not true, after speaking to Rik for over an hour on the phone he is now a member here again and he's more than welcome as we've all stated to join in any discussion or offer advice.
I spoke with Rik and he said to let him get moved in by 9th or March and he will be finishing all jobs outstanding

I'm sure he will see this as he looks in every day and its nice to see him back

if you read my previous posts when i said about being jumped on i was talking about me making an offer of an extra pair of hands for rik and rachel getting her dash fitted,i found the kitchen comment a tad sarcastic and un-called for ya know (builder took my money then never fitted it).hope that clears it up,
