Wow, that's impressive how many moving parts there is! Lot of things to discover and play with Smile

Added again some 1/43 models, two 80's supercars and some present day road cars as well.

Ferrari Testarossa '84 in red by Hachette GT-Collection issue 18. Famous Ferrari, famous from Miami Vice altough it was white in it but red is IMO best colour for Testarossa:

Lamborghini Countach LP400 S in white by Whitebox. As a kid had a poster in my room which had white Lambo just like this one and also David Hasselhoff's True Survivor song inspired me to get this model Smile

Also got an 1/64 scale 3rd gen Chevrolet Camaro Z28 by Autoworld:

Then got some modern Audi's, Alfa-Romeo Giulietta and Mercedes S-Class Coupe models in 1/43 scale.

The Ferrari & Lamborghini are two amazing cars, I sat in a Testarossa once, seats are great, didn't wanted to get out anymore. Smile

Loving the Camaro too. Such detail for such a small model. I Love 1:64 scale models.

Should definitely get the Testarossa in white though. Red is the most popular colour but White is one of the most rare.

Thanks for the comments Smile

Here's one problematic model I have, a Norev Audi A6 in 1/18 scale which has so called zinc pest problem in it's bonnet and bootlid. I think it's some sort of chemical reaction in the metal combination it was made from when there's some impurities in the mix. The model is now almost ten years old but started showing signs of this problem in just few years after I got it, paint looked rough first but now it's gotten so bad the metal is cracked, twisted and expanded rendering the model horrible looking POS.
Here's few photos I took just today:

My Audi isn't the only one though, have seen the same problem with this model by others as well. Many photos are found about this problem in google search.
Hopefully this will be the only case in my collection...

Luckily this problem is indeed quite rare. The modelshop where I bought this model, no longer exists and I don't think the manufacturer cares about some ten year old releases so have to just accept this misfortune. Maybe I'll dismantle this model and use parts like engine, wheels, lamps and glass for garage diorama.

If it were me i'd just take it apart, sand all the metal back and then repaint it in a colour of my choice Wink

Whoa! Complete failure of the tyre! You are indeed lucky that you managed to stay on the road and no other damage occurred. Looks like the tyre failed from the inner corner where it's harder to look at the condition. How old the tyre was?

It was an old tire, from 2001.
But it still looked good, no cracks in it.

I had the cars yearly safety check last year and it passed.

Yeah I was luckly when it happened, the car was keeping it well during the crashed tire, and I could stop safely.

This is pretty much the only thing that even remotely remindes me from KITT in my Kia, the red digital trip computer screen:

Still nice to have a car which has two first letters the same as KITT, maybe KIA stands for Knight Industries Automobile Very Happy

Kia will probably like that!  lol!

Does anyone ever bought a dashcam?
I'm thinking about it to buy the new DOD LS470W
It's the best available one on the market.

Bought a really cheap one back in 2012 but can't recommend it, especially because image quality in my dashcam looks more like VHS than HD Laughing
Here's a pic of it:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Sample pic of the image quality. Originally it was really blurry but adjusted the focus of the lens so this is the best I could get it, still more like a VHS quality Razz
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It has so called night vision also but it's totally useless, here's a sample pic of night time quality:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

There's a website (and youtube channel) called "Techmoan" who has done a lot of reviews about dashcams, not sure though if he has reviewed the one you linked here.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Have been considering of getting myself too a better dashcam but haven't decided which one and how much I want to even spend money on it. I would think dashcams have improved a lot since 2012 though.

Last year the DOD LS460W was the best, the new version is even better...specially at night.
There are a lot of videos about it on YouTube, check them out!

It's not cheap (about 200,- GBP), but it's better to pay more...and have something good for many years, then go cheap and the quality of filming is poor and you want to replace it again. Wink

Cool! Hope you'll do a review about it here when you have used it for a while Smile
There's a lot of car crash videos in youtube recorded with dashcams but luckily never captured any collisions with my camera, Finnish drivers are good drivers Smile
Dashcam can be nice to have while traveling, it captures the nice locations and views while driving so the driver don't have to dig up any other cameras to take a photo which may be dangerous. Can't stop for example in motorway to take photos either.

I'm going to post the best videos on YouTube, and also do a review about the dashcam itself.
Will let you know when I have uploaded something.

I was in Luxemburg a while ago, it was really beautiful with the hills and nature, certainly want to make the same trip again one day with the dashcam.

I received my dashcam, installed it and made some first trips.
It's not very tight mounted into the holder that's mounted on the windshield, but I can solve that.
Further it does it's work perfectly.

But, my hearing is very well and if I check out the videos I hear a very high beep in it.
Is it me or do you also hear this?
