insurance again Empty insurance again

i am wanting to get kitt insured for end of the month so i can drive him for what little summer we got left. just being lookinjg on other threads and was wondering how everyone is getting it cheaper than what i being qouted. i got 1 years no claims but 3 on another car. plus i am 26. have you all gone for a classic policy

im the same age as you mate and mine works out about 280 quid, im with MCE, nobody could match their price ! thats just a normal american car policy with an agreed value, fully comp.

Here in the US, if the car is over 25 years old, it is considered a classic car and qualifies for Classic Car Insurance, which is very cheap. There are some stipulations, such as a limit of how far you can drive the car in one year and other rules, but if you are using your car primarily as a show car, it would fit into the rules nicely. I am paying about $130 for full coverage of $10,000. I will increase it once the dashboard is in.
I don't know if the UK has a similar insurance, but might be worth looking into.
