VOICE SOTWARE FOR KITT

I recently bought a mini itx (ZOTAC ION ITX F-E) to use it with car later.
I have installed winows 7.

I know look on finding a good voice software.
Any program to use the A&T Natural voice engine?
Perhaps a program to use real william daniels voice like the MIO GPS?
If i connect usb bluetooth to itx how can i use microphone from distance
to control voice responses through itx?

Well,

There are a few solutions, I myself are going to use VR Commander with some custom written software to do something with the responses.

The only real way of making your own sentances, is to get as many phrases from the show and split them up and create new phrases.

I know of a software program to adjust normal voices to vaguley match a pattern taken from another voice. (AV Voice Changer)

All you need is a Bluetooth dongle for your PC, I have tried this with VR Commander and it works excellently as all the external noise is reduced and recognition is much better.

If you need a good distance between you and the car, then there is a bluetooth booster for about £150 which has a range of 2 miles, (I am using one of these).

i dont see the point in voice acivation replies

means at car shows u have to sit in the car all day lol

do a CD with phrases that make sence then simply walk away haha

Voice activation is cool. But i do see your point, this is why im going with VR Commander as anyone can talk to him where with Dragon it has to be trained to indavidual voices.

Besides, theres nothing cooler than being able to have a conversation with KITT lol.

VR commander is voice recognition software which will run anything you want from a voice command.

So you could launch software or even an MP3 sentence from the show or whatever you want.

To be honest XP has it built in but its not as patch on VR.

You will create commands which then run responses from your PC,

Lets say, you say KITT PLAY MUSIC, then you would get VR to run up Windows media player and playy tunes, KITT NEXT TRACK would trigger the next track command.

Works very well, if you want a random response than a little programming in the background which receives commands from VR then randomly plays a response.

The responses will have to be made by you manually from phrases from the show or CD's if you have them.

The beauty with VR is that you just type the phrase which you want it to recognise, no training at all, the only thing I have found is type several variations of the phrase, e.g.

BOOK
BUCK
BUK
BUC

etc.

Anything beyond this is AI.
