It's actually a 305 built.... slightly...Jjokin...No, I had some leftover 350 stuff laying around for the knight Rider, and when I went turbo , it kind of messed up my idea for a cam car/KITT... But, boy this thing sounds good... It's actually running cold here, as it was warming up. Just sounds cool to me..... It has timing gears, Lunati grind cam, Headers, Performer intake, all the goodies... Screamin little 305 to say the least. Why on this engine? Because it was new!!! Thanks for the reply though!!!

hey nothing wrong with the 305's, thats what ive got, although im not going for blistering performance otherwise i would of seeked out a good 5.7 instead and done all the mods. Ive still fitted headers, had the exhaust done and a few other little tweeks here and there and KITT gets down the road very well indeed, but most importantly !...it sounds great, lol

There's something about that size displacement that sounds good, even ford's 302 (which to me, is one of the best sounding v8 engines) , sound great. The 305s also have some of the nicest tones. Agreed there. I'm not much on performance anymore. Getting older has calmed me down a little .i was always about speed , but anymore , I just like the sound going down the road of nicely running v8

ive just bought myself a timing gun so i can check my timing, im having some issues that i cant seem to cure after replacing a few other things so fingers crossed its the timing
