engine swap v6 to v8

hi guys ,at last got the mechanic to start the engine swap, im takeing out the 2.8 and dropping in a v8 from a 82ta hes gona take the v8 out first check it out and service it has an autobox so im putting that in aswell, i was told i might have to change the fuel lines aswell ,has anyone done this befour im hopeing itl drop in handy enough.. just looking for feedback the mechanic said he will have to eliminate problems as they come up as he hasnt worked on them b4 hes good and dosent come cheap i didnt go with my regular mech...thanks tom...

I believe you'll need to change the front springs to v8 ones, due to the heavier engine.
Never seen a v6 up close, so not sure what else, but i expect it'll just drop in. maybe engine mounts too.

nice one mate hadnt taught of that ,id have them fron the 82ta as its a complete car thanks...
