Original or not?

To me it looks like the real original 2/3 season front nose, only the blackouts are filled up.

What do you think?

It's one of the original Tour cars from 1987.
I'm becoming more and more sure about it that it's an real original front nose, I'm comparing photos from the front nose with the original one and it's identical! (besides the missing blackouts then)

Because it's missing the blackouts, the front nose looks a little strange and long, but as soon as you make / draw blackouts in it, it's the real original front nose!

I know it.Is not a original.
I had some pictures of some years ago.
this guy live in Austria if I dont wrong and was in a Event to Wein.
but that car isnt a original.

Yes, the car itself is not an original, but to me the parts on it are.
Also the dashboard, looks perfect.

from what i can tell, i agree with Steve etc. Its an original Tour car. The nose is a very badly filled in Scheffe nose but it does sport a true dash etc.

May not be a screen used car but it is still a piece of history.

the tour cars ( keswick best of all of them) were built with original but werid universal studios stuff

ive seen a few on photos and are all very simular

Aj car has the tour car overlays and electronics but a correct nose

I have visited the car and have seen many old photos from it.
I can't say anything else then it's 100% original, I mean screen used!!

It has papers from Universal Studios and even David Hasselhoff remembered the car.

The owner also talked with several persons who know more about Knight Rider when it was filmed and it's becoming more and more clear that it's an real screen used KITT.

Only screen used cars had the clear windshield for example, which this KITT also had in the past.

The clear windshields were specially made for KITT, because then the blue tinted stripe at the top wouldn't be in the way during filming, so you would have a nice clear shot.

I also have the measurements from the original front nose and this front nose is the same.

This KITT is very interesting, so I hope the owner will find out everything he can about it's past!

that car was on Knight Rider in some shape or form as it has Jack Gill modifications done to it, i have some private photos of it

He's listing it as a Billy Gunter nose and it sure looks like one to me.

Yes, that's Billy's replica version from the original one.
He has taken all the measurement from it to create his own front nose.

It's not perfect, but he did a great job!!

Jjokin, I tried mine as an orginal for April Fools day. Got some people in the hobby though. An orginal, no.... my original.... yes. Jjokin, you guys need to laugh more!
