Very nice tutorial mate.
Shame it doesn't stay lit for a few seconds instead of going straight off.

You could put a small cap on the non lit side so when the button was pressed it would keep it lit for a second or 2

oh! what a cool idea... I also thought you could insert a .01uF resistor in another line out to trigger a tone board...
If my rudimentary electronics is good, that should send out a negative ground pulse... still need to think on it.. :-)

Yeah that should work Bo, but you would have to experiment with the value for the length of time you want the Led on for, as for triggering a tone board that should be fairly easy
