New Polish recommendation

I know this is sad but i bought some of that new turtle wax ice polish the other day,
cost £14 but it is well worth it, i usually polish the car and it takes ages and is quite difficult when its hot, this stuff can be used at any temp and can get the whole car done in an hour. Just thought i'd throw that out there.

roflmao, just threw my bottle at a mate as i hate the stuff. It smears like buggery after the initial first coat. Its great on white not so good on black.
I buy some stuff called pink wax just under £20 for 5 lts with a liter easy handle top up bottle, a roll of rag and a pump. All bodyshop/valeters proffessional stuff too.
Sorry mate just my opinion on it.

yes, i had a sweet shine the first time i used it but the next few times it just smeared so i gave up.
As for autoglym......... Ive never rated the stuff. Its way too expensive and way too much hard work.
This pink wax is easy on and easy off and man does it leave a sheen. The rag just slides down the hood.

i always use autoglym
do a coat of super resin
the a coat of deep shine
then a coat od hd wax
takes a afew hours but worth it
am looking at the hd polish at the min as it says it clears all the old polish and wax off to give a better shine when you put the hd wax on
but is about 30 quid a tub
but then the hd wax is 40 quid a tub

You're all going to laugh when i say this.............use Mr Sheen!!
Honestly, don't knock it 'till you try it.
"Mr Sheen shines umpteen things clean".
I can hear you all laughing in the background but honestly, give it a try.

i wasnt keen on the ice polish. i now use smart wax which is pink or voodoo polish which is really good an easy to use.
I do like the ultra deep shine which auto glym do as that does work really well on black cars just leaves white powder out there

mr sheen ? ha ha
Ive gotta say lads ive only ever used one polish on my car since getting it and it comes up mint every time, its 3M imperial hand glaze, its not really a polish either, it sort of rubs into the paint and makes it like glass, ive never used anything else and when the bottles empty i'll get another one.
My dad gave me it when the car was painted and said rub that in and wow !

Yeah i use Farecla glaze but its not a wax lol. Its a fine cutting compound so its taking paint off everytime you use it. Id recommend only using that once a year and then protecting with wax.

Funny you should say that Stu.
Mould release wax gives the best deepest gloss shine ever lol. I havent yet tried it myself on my car but was actually considering it lol although i use TR Carnuba wax.
