Rubbing off!!
Sun Jul 07, 2013 5:54 pm
You guys!! I only joined this site to help network with my convertible project, (non KITT replica, standard car) now I have complete season one DVD box set (only watched first disk so far) and I have the 2008 Knight Rider series on DVD, nearly finished that, one disk left to see.
Quite like the new series too, and very nostalgic watching the real one lol

lol, sounds like a plan ! just to clarify we arent pressuring you into converting your car though, ha ha.
But would i have a Trans Am if Knight Rider never existed ? well ive got no idea, maybe not if i were to hazard a guess. I think they are lovely looking cars on their own, but knight rider really sucked me in and i always wanted KITT, even before i knew what a Pontiac Firebird was !

Lol, I'm struggling as it is to get the 'ol 'bird back on the road where it should be, and it does sound quite an expensive thing to do judging from some of your posts.
Scott, I guess I'm the other way around from you as in my interest in Knight Rider stems from my love of american cars/trucks/vans/bikes , Firebirds in particular (plus I watched it as a kid so its kinda nostalgic)
Could anybody post a pic of convertible KITT? I only have season one on disk and I can't remember it from 1st time around, I was very busy in the eighties ! I might have missed a few episodes!
