Just wondered......what would be the value of the following:

Genuine 1982 T-Top factory black car,
Totally rust free (been dry stored 18yrs),
90,000 miles (genuine),
Full Doeskin tan PMD power interior,
Turbocasts and caps with new Cooper Cobra tires all round,
Functional Cowl Induct hood,
Vented fenders,
Smoked taillights,
Full lower Ground effects,
Lovely 5.0 V8 that purrrrssss!,
New silky smooth TH350 gearbox and proper Torque Arm reliocation kit.
New T-Top seals, door seals, trunk seals etc....
New rear suspension (droplinks, springs, shocks)
New(ish) factory 3" exhaust, single muffler at the back.

All body prep finished, perfectly straight panels, just needs top coat of gloss black applied to finish it (currently has a guide coat on just now).

Things needed (I'm being picky here):

Ideally a new carpet as original is a bit faded,
Rocker cover gaskets replaced (have new ones),
New topcoat of gloss black applied and the new T-Top seals to be fitted,
Drivers seat base needs repaired as seams have split,
One front calliper is sticky,
front coil springs need replaced (have new ones)
Headliner needs recovered.

If it was sold as is, what do you guys reckon it's worth? Also if I were to do the minor things to finish it, what do you guys then think it would be worth?

I reckon around 3 grand minimum with all the work you have done to it mate, how come your thinking of selling ?

Wouldnt sell it that cheap, could split it for parts and get double that lol!

I've heard of a 2nd Gen locally.......really really tempted by it and saw an 82 on eaby a few months ago, with a crap interior, needing a respray but with a KITT nose and it hit just over £6,000?

HIGHLY unlikely to sell it mate, don't worry.....just curious.....2nd gen is a 6.6though and I've had my beady wee eye on it for years!!!!

If my last 2nd gen hadn't turned out to have had such a bodged restoration by the last owner, I'd still have it tbh, loved that car. Just know of this one thats unofficially up for sale and I'd kill for it, its a stunner, Royal blue, gold decals/pinstriping, 6.6 engine, ttops and silver leather.....UGH!!!!!!

Haha.....its only a question guys, I'm not likely to sell him, spent the last god knows how long searching for a proper factory black, t-top 82, now I've finally got one it's not likely to get parted with.......in saying that though, everything has a price lol
