Right Hand Drive Version. ???????
Sat Sep 11, 2010 9:40 am
Hi all,
Just been going through my images to do a bit of electronics research and came across this.
Is it me or is this a RHD with the Emblem on the opposite side on the Gull Wing.
Amazing the differences you find when you scrutinize the piccies.
From Episode Knight Strike.

Found Another. Jumps in the left side but lands in the right, classic.

id think the right hand drive cars were used for stunts where the hoff had to jump into the car, then cut scene back to the LHD car.

There are a few right hand drive conversions out there, like OZ and NZ, its illegal to have a left hand drive car there so they have to be converted

There are a few rhd yer. But its not illegal out there to have a LHD at all. You just have to take another driving test for LHD's and a few people just cant be bothered lol.

Was just gonna say that lol.
The Aussies have RHD replicas and that's where the Hoff filmed Jump in my car.
Also, the gullwing emblem is on the same side as the LHD ones.

Its the normal LHD car in those shots but for some reason the film has been flipped during editing, not uncommon but its stupid for closeup shots like that. the RHD drive cars had the stunt wheel hidden low down and they could be driven from the left too so it would appear to normal
Sometimes you can see KITT's license plate reads back to front, or the hood scoop is going the wrong way on the bonnet etc.
I think that pic you posted Mike you can sort of tell the GMC badge on the front on the brown truck is backwards too
