of course kids are welcome to the event itself, but i doubt children will be aloud in the VIP "welcome knight" as this is to be held in a night club at the venue, i will find out and let you know asap

Sorry I cant cough up £110 to tax it when in the garage for 6 months all beit the weekend on Knightcon of that . I know i can reclaim 5 ms back but with the £1000 vet bill i just paid and the £ 500 its back up to ( horse ill ) more vet bills to come ( insurance wont touch her being her age ) also my Blacks respray week after next . Cant do it , I did love it though it was Blacks last outing before the winter . I did Billing yesterday which is now his last outing and its only Aug nothing worth doing now cep tKC.

Also the 1st weekend of Oct is my last major horse event of the year(my mares son ) I have never missed it( over the last 10 years ) except foot and mouth year .

Guys (and Gals) I know this thread is not really the place for this, and this will probably embarrass Mark too, but I want you all to know exactly what Mark has just done.
What little money I'd managed to get together prior to Karen's Historectamy Op has been spent going up and down the Motorway while my Mom was in Hospital and then again for her funeral, and with Karen now getting no money (lost her job in July due to having to have 3 months off after this Op) we are going to be struggling financially just to GET to KnightCon this year on just MY wages so realistically there is no way I would have been able to afford these Platinum tickets.

I was only discussing this with Mark on the phone yesterday evening, and then without my knowledge Mark has gone and paid out an extra £80 for 2 tickets for me & Karen, then phoned me back last night to tell me I didn't have to worry about tickets as they are a gift from him & his partner Gemma.
How thoughtful is that????!!!!!

It's having friends like Mark that really set this hobby apart, and make it feel like you're part of a "Family".
