Hello everyone, just thought I would say hi and tell you why I am here, been reading some of your project files and I totally love the model section!

I've bought a Pontiac that I wish to turn into a Kitt, I nice dream I've had for a good few years, this one has been in storage for a few years, I'm just on with sorting the brakes out and need a front exhaust or repair this one before its MOT
Sadly the weather up here and working is stopping me getting ahead on the project.
Sadly I lost my mum and this project is to take my mind from things, something to keep me going.
I got my hands on a rear pumper and it has the correct boot spoiler, hope to get the front, scanner and have it painted black before I turn my attention onto the inside,
I'll try and get some pictures together, just had the computer rebuilt so lost all what was on sadly.

Hi David, and welcome to the fold.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom mate, we lost my Mom this year too after she was rushed into Hospital with an annurism in July, and it's the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with, so I really feel for you.

Hi David, welcome. I started my replica about a year and a half ago and although its nowhere near most peoples on here as regards progress, it is nearly externally complete. You'll have fun building a KITT, Its one of the few ways to be a kid again after 30! Very Happy
