Just been watching Let it be me, when Michael takes Stevie back to her apartment and they pull up outside, KITT opens the boot automatically, or does he ? if you look over to the right side as the hatch is opening you can see a black broom handle push the hatch up until the hatch struts take the weight, and then whoever is hiding in the backseat quickly pulls it back down again, lol
