I really apprecieate all the help you and the other guys on here have given, and thanks for the list of car shows etc, but unfortunately money is tight at the moment, and the money I'm waiting for is getting further away everyday , So I dunno when or if I'll be at any of these shows, but it would be great to get some help from guys who know what they are doing )
I just hope it's not to pushy or pushie (however it's spelt) )))

Anyway we will see what happens, but god willing I'll definately be up at KNIGHTCON the next time its on, either with my KITT or alone )

No worries chap,, I'm new here aswell, but not new to KITT conversion, but after about a 10yr gap gota lot of catching up to do but the basics stay the same.

As I've said if money at the moment is an issue (like it is for me) then take your time to research (Which your doing by being here) figure out what you want,, I know you said your a season 3/4 chap (if I remeber rightly) so figure out whos dash do you want, whos nose, whos electronics etc, this way if you see something come up at the right price 2nd hand or a deal form supplier and you have the spare cash for the part you could get that,, chances are you'll not loose money on the parts or atleast not much if you bow out of the scene later,, if you dont then you'll have some parts to get going etc etc etc,, stop me if im sounding like a broken record

As for events its always do what you can if you want to, and don't if you don't ,, I know a few people in the cop car scene that have them but only ever do local shows.

I cheat with billing as it's only about 20mins from me

Yeap you are right I am a 3/4 season guy, theres nothing wrong with a 1/2 season dashboard or the 1/2 season of the show, but I personally like the 3/4 season dashboard better:)

As for the electronics and other stuff like interior, possible respray of paint etc, I'm thinking of maybe getting a 'donor car' and contacting say KIRAD or KOE and saying this is my budget, and these are the things I can't do and need help with, then hopefully they can offer help in the department )

So he won't be fully made by me, but as much as my punny brain and electronics knowledge will allow

At least now I know how to find you at KNIGHTCON or other car shows, look for the guys wearing cop uniforms and standing by cop cars, as an ex Police officer from LOndon's Met, I have an interest in cop stuff to, so save a donut for me )

It was Richardo Montalban, Star Trek 2 The wrath of Khan.
Did you know that years later the writers reworked his name to be the guy who created Mr Data I.E
KHAN NOONIAN SINGH (his real name but I'll give it you as I was only after Khan )
Then years later
DR NOONIAN SOONG created Mr Data )

And to end this line of weirdness, the book was Moby Dick by Herman Melvin

I'll have to stop now, movie trivia, is my other passion and I could do this all night (sad I know)
