My KnightCon 2012 Photos & Video
Wed Sep 05, 2012 12:33 pm
Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Rob and Steve for such a great event yet again. So much hard work went in to make the event so special for everyone.
Also it was good to put some more faces to the names off this forum and to have been able to get my KITT on display for the first time at a KC event.
I met up with Rik, Simon and Dave Stapeley and convoyed to Castleford, it was an amazing journey having 4 thumping V8's overtaking one another and seeing everyone in other cars taking photos of us all as we drove past. It was great seeing the smiles on peoples faces both on the motorway and at the event when admirers would be laughing, smiling and bonding with their offspring, telling them about the show and about the amazing hero star car. It was truely an amazing experience.
Below are the pictures I took just after we got all the KITT's parked up around 7.30am, so i managed to get some good clean shots as there were no crowds around that early.

All of the pics above of the guests sat in KITT and signing him were all of my own KITT

Yes it was great even though I was waiting at Sandbach services for 3 hours lol, at least it kept people occupied and entertained at the services when KITT was chatting away

Loved looking at the pics and great to see you had a great time also.
I'm sure it's the last thing rob and steve are thinking of but i'm really looking forward to next year.
Jogged my memory too...the pic below I took late on Friday night outside the premier inn, had to fiddle with the flash and exposure a bit to get 'that effect' then tweaked it a bit more at home to ramp the chroma up lol....
But who's car was/it ?!?....

Great to put a car to a face lol...
I'll put the original up on my picassa and pm you the link later. It's not too dissimilar, just not as tidy and colorful. I did grab some other shots of it while I was testing the flash etc.
Check your mail later.

Wow! You guys set an impressive table! I am blown away at how hard it is to build one of these cars here in the states and you guys make it look easy.. :-)
