What happened to acid KITT

I realise I've not been active in the community for quite some time now, but this is worth a share even if it is for the second time!

Personally I find this fascinating. Presuming that acid KITT could have no other purpose in the show, to actually playing such a major part in season 4.

I don't know if it's old news now, but I've found out that KIFT is in the hands of a place called "Bobs prop shop". In the link below it's interesting to see that there was nothing to the dash at all. They must have super imposed the lot!

That is a subject always close to my heart too, especially the whereabouts or even designs and original Season 4 SPM and convertible creations.
If you do a search for Dennis Braid, (they guy who created the SPM cars and convertibles) you will see on his website some really detailed rare photos that will satisfy the keenest fan(it certainly did me).
You actually see the car they created where the flaps actually emerged from. This was done one side only i believe and the shots showed in a mirror image. That WAS the 'acid pit' K.I.T.T they used for that car.
He also talks about maybe recreating the SPM car again.
The original SPM car they DID crush , i have seen the images.(very sad), they more than likely have too with the SPM activation car and also the trailered convertible (where the roof raised and folded up inside the rear of the car).

Bobs Prop Shop have a video on YT regarding a turnkey they had produced, and in the background you can see the KIFT parked and painted in different colours :-)J-Knight wrote:I don't know if it's old news now, but I've found out that KIFT is in the hands of a place called "Bobs prop shop".
