ROFLMAO
the sums just don't add up here Rik
You're 9yrs younger than me, and I was a '60's child (1963), and so I was 18yrs old in 1981 (making me an 80's man), but you wouldn't have turned 18 until 1990, so you are really a 90's man

I guess I have to say then that I'm 80's kid, don't really care for being called an 1990's man as I turned 18 in halloween 1992
I like 1980's much much more than 1990's, I even think 1980's was the best time in my life, it sure was fun to be a carefree kid in the 80's
Used to like the 90's Eurodance at first, Pandora, 2Unlimited, Haddaway and the kind but after some time it became kind of repetitive and monotonic, using the same "formula" over and over again.
Here's good 80's song played in Back to the Future movies, HueyLewis & the News, The Power of Love. This brings back a lot of memories from the 80's, used to play lot in the radio at the time

Yeah,
There was some fantastic songs in the 80's and some matching movies too.
I have to say that the 80's was the best decade.

I was in the Royal Air force when TOP-GUN came out, and so wanted to be like "Maverick" but unfortunately I looked more like "Goose"

I just went to an 80's concert, a "here and now" jobby.
Cutting Crew (I just died in your arms tonight)
The Real Thing (You to me are everything & Can you feel the force etc)
Curiosity Killed the Cat (Misfit, Down to Earth etc)
Belinda Carlisle
Rick Astley
Kim Wilde (Kids in America, what a tune that was live!!!!!!!!!!)
Boy George. (who strangely enough featured in an episode of the A-Team!)
You can't beat 80's pop!
