Hello My name is Derek "derekw76".
I am a new member here and thought I would say hello and introduce myself to all of you. I may have spoken to some of you before on some of the other Knight Rider boards.
I am 34 yrs old, I reside in NW Indiana USA, I have been a huge fan of KITT and the show since I was a young boy.
I have owned several Trans Ams in the past. Currently I have a 1982 that I am converting into a KITT replica. I still have a long ways to go with it. Right now I am trying to complete the exterior before this comming spring.
My car is currently in paint. Over all I feel like I have a pretty good car to start with.
It is all factory , and has only 40,xxx miles on it.

I am highly impressed by some of the replicas I have seen while browsing this board .
You are definatly a very talented group and I hope that with some work my KITT can be as nice as some of the ones I have seen here .

Looks like you're quite a good way to building your replica since you have all the hard to get parts like hood, turbocasts, PMD's etc.
