Hi all, I am new in this forum, thanx to Joao I discovered and joined it today. It was always my dream to come to the KnightCon in the UK, as it's the biggest and greatest Knight Rider (Replica) event in Europe. As Joao invited me this time, it seems to be very realistic for me now. I am from the continent like Joao, too, so I am currently checking out, if I go for the classic way via Dover or take the ferry from Rotterdam to Hull.
I would come with my 2nd Season KITT replica, and with the ferry I would save a lot of miles. On the other hand driving in a convoi with your guys from South England and Joao sounds very cool, too Smile

I guess tomorrow I have to take a decission...

So where is the south coast upwards meeting up? so far it appears to be Myself, Tony Westwood, Tyrone Raven, Lee Cast has to work & will be travelling in the evening... i'm hoping to get at least 5-7 KITTS all in convoy....

i just got back from Amsterdam yesterday, the ferry goes from Ijmuden to North Shields, where i live, its about a 2 and a half hour drive from here to KnightCon.

We booked the ferry now (Rotterdam <-> Hull), and we will come with 2 (two) KITTs to the KnightCon 2011 cheers

We are very excited and looking forward to attend the greatest Knight Rider event in Europe! tongue

We are so happy, that this year it's possible for us to join you!
We will arrive at friday morning (30.09.) and leave at saturday evening (01.10.), as the ferry is only operating during the night.

Hi All, Also I'm new to this forum.
Also thanks to Joao who told me to come to the KnighCon this year.
I'm coming with my wife and my '84 hardtop firebird T/A to the KnightCon!

Also coming from the Netherlands and going with the train from Calais to Dover.

I'm looking forward to it and meet all you guys!

I just wonder why especially you Dutch guys don't take the ferry from Rotterdam which goes directly to Hull (near Castleford)?? (like I do) Maybe driving with KITT through half of the UK is a real great experience? Smile

I would love to do it, too, but as a Continental-aborigine for the first try I am a little bit afraid about the left-hand-traffic?
