Hello Tony,
the only place that needs attention in the body, is the battery compartement (there is a hole on it).
The engine runs and pulls well, i will change all the oils and filters, spark plugs, leads, distributor cap...
I have to try the automatic gearbox better, and see if it is fully operational.
The brakes work well, but they will need a rebuild, of course.
I`ll see how many money will i spend and then we will see what to do.
In Portugal, it is very dificult to find a Pontiac. I will have to find everything i need, outside my country.
Thanks.
Helder
Hi Helder,
The battery tray is a common place for rust, and luckily is an easy fix.
Living here in UK where there are normally at least 10 listings for 3rd Gens on ebay every week I tend to forget that they are not as easy to find in some other Countries, sorry , but the more you talk about your car the less sounds wrong with it, so maybe you won't need to find another car anyway
Whatever needs fixing, we'll help if we can anyway
Regards,
Tony

Obrigado.
Um abraço

Hi,
last Saturday i was working in the car.
The scanner works well, but there is a damaged bulb, i will change it and then post a video for you, to see it working.
Only has one speed, but it is fine for me.
The engine runs fine, but if i accelerate too hard when driving he goes down. It seems fuel failure.
I think its the carburettor. Is it dificult to adjust it?
Thanks.
