What scares me most is the way the car swerved sideways in mid-air (he hit that bridge sidewards) KITT never flew like that
No "Dukes of Hazzard" style jumps in KITT for me now

Nothing wrong with that as long as you don't forget where the car washing equipment lives

Hey Tony
Its a good thing the car did turn sideways in mid air, thats how the guy survived! he spent a few days in hospital but he lived!!

That's why these cars are notorious for rotting in those areas BADLY.
There were mud flaps available.I've seen a couple of origional immaculate cars fitted with them. But it's hardly a GOOD LOOK is it:)
The metal body protection for the 80' was pretty dire.
Unless it's been in a hot or dry climate most it's life ( and the weather seals will be cracked) then it will most likely have rust.

I know Kev but when it's a raining day i can't drive with an umbrella over the car and 2 pair of boots under the wheels...
When the weather become good i wash the car and the rust can be wait again...
