Fuel economy

I don't know if been asked here before but what do you guys'n'gals here run engine wise, and what UK MPG do you get?
For example (in my cop car)
5ltr
V8
Injection
17mpg
I really would like to know what the V6 crowd are getting, but might as well see what the V8's are doing to,, with wanting to get another KITT again but wanting to use it daily I want to see what I'm looking at ,, my old KITT if I remember rightly was
5ltr
V8
Carb
17mpg (could get 21mpg on steady long haul)
Cheers

I done it a couple of years ago when i still had the standard manifolds and the manky old exhaust and just driving around where i live in my normal manner i was getting 16.7mpg, mines a 5.0 TPI
Just to sort of put things in perspective, back in 2007 when we first met up at The Rock, 3 of us came down from Newcastle in our cars, Peter in his 3.1 V6 which used maybe a little over a quater of a tank, me in the 5.0 TPI used bang on half a tank, and simon in his 5.7 carb used nearly 3 quaters of a tank ! he was a bit gutted but what did he expect, lol

about 100 miles i think, MPG has never really been a worry for me though, i knew i wanted a V8 because of the noise, and the car isnt used as a daily driver so its all good, although it would be nice if they could knock about 40p off a litre of petrol again, lol

lol wouldnt it be great if they abolished the vat on fuel would be alot cheaper and to be fair the tpi 5.7 is better on fuel than the 5.7 carb a lot better
