Chris, You Can't come onto the forum with a post like this.

The moaning is coming from the Knight Rider People because this is a Knight Rider Forum. Who do you think it's going to come from, the Wurzul Gummage fan club?

"Knight Rider = Self Obsessed freaks?"

That statement is insulting to Everyone on here, some of us who know you personally.

If you're done then we needn't ban you. You would have gone through a warning system the same as everyone else but you've saved us the trouble Smile

Peter

Crack on then!!

Ironically, I'm a fan, strange eh!?

Those that take it personally are the people its probably aimed at, the ones that stood back and did sod all each and every year of the Knightcon event time.

I've had this very discussion with a few people, they know what I'm saying and actually agree, even more ironic really.

Thanks Steve & Rob for the message to the car owners of the damaged vehicles (not just the KITTs). I've been messaging Steve over the last few days about this so once again thanks.

Yes, this topic has gone off the rails a bit, and yes, Knight Rider isn't as high up the list in pop-culture as it once was...but I saw a hell of a lot of smiling people last weekend of all ages that were so full of joy it was unreal.

Thanks Peter for making my lads weekend and letting him sit in your K.A.R.R.  (he's still frightened of him though which is great lol)

I didn't say everyone was, just a large percentage that care more about themselves and moaning rather than stepping up to help fix the problems they keep bitching about..

I get on well with a small group of you, the others are pretty much as I stated.

Self obsessed.

Just wanted to add what I hope is helpful to those who may have had their cars scratched.

Assuming they are not deep scratches (think keying) and are lighter scratches (think cat claws), then it is usally possible to remove these by a specialist Detailer.

Detailers are expert valeters who typically work on top end cars, and they are able to remove a lot of scratches through specialised techniques.

I've used them a few times to spruce up my cars and the difference is amazing. When I prepped my last car for sale it had a number of light scratches, swirl marks etc. I sent it to Autoshine and 3 days later the car came back with every single one removed. It looked truly brand new (stone chips aside!)! This is not repainting or touching up, it is removing the scratch from the surface area using voodoo and other magical things that I don't understand.

It's worth seeking one out if you want to cost up the possible repair. Try speaking to Tony Spears, I've used him several times and his work is fantastic. He is mobile too and can travel.

Hope that helps some of you. Smile

Ok and what's this? I still know how to read Stue. Don't play the devil's lawyer.
No doubt this will get back to the organisers of the event and I will prob get deleted off the forum too as thats what kids do when they spit there dummy out. Im just happy that I have spent 2 years building my KITT the way I like it and I get some great comments off the public saying how much they love it and to see how happy it makes them to see a childhood dream right in front of there eyes. Dont get me wrong, a lot of effort and prep from Rob and Steve goes into Knightcon but the theme has now died.

Here's something else I found out from Steve and that is that A-Team van guy had an amazing time and that he left earlier because he had wedding to attend.
So much of him leaving earlier because people were doing damage to his van.
