Very nice, have learned few new songs from this thread, especially those two from the gym club in The Final Verdict

Just wanted to add that if Knight Rider still was going on today, as the original music (Stu Phillips & Don Peake) was made by synthesizers, it might have evolved to include sounds and effects from modern trance music?

I think it's made by Don Peake but don't know if it has any special name.

If you listen the first few seconds of Finnish band named Dingo and their song "Nahkatakkinen tyttö", I think you may hear few familiar synth notes

I was listening yesterday night a Finnish radiostation "YleX" which had a program called "Parasta ennen" (best before). Usually it plays 1990's eurodance but yesterday there was a guest dj who played few vinyls from his collection. One of them was from the 80's, a theme from Rocky Disco Mix (Eye of the tiger):


It generated funny comments in the shoutbox, many of them shouted "Knight Rider"
Certainly there are some synth sounds which reminds from Knight Rider Eye of the Tiger even was playing in one Knight Rider episode.
Oh, and the music in the beginning is familiar from the bloopers dvd...

do you know the song Skin game? Anyone have a good cover of that song?
the original is not the same as the song used in the series.

Also Billy Idol with rebel yell i Think the cover is better :-)

I believe those covers were made by the series composer, Don Peake and probably never released elsewhere. Both composers, Stu Phillips and Don Peake have released CD's and Mr. Peake even USB flash drives with Knight Rider soundtracks in them. Some Peake's releases have cover versions of the "real" music from some of the episodes
Just yesterday I received the Don Peake Knight Rider Vol. 4 - 7 USB flash drives with Knight Rider soundtracks and already have listened most of them
